Natural Harvest: A Collection of Semen-Based Recipes

December 3, 2010

Cooking with CumPossibly the most epic WTF in Frump’s history? Most likely.

Next book to top the New York Times’ Best-Seller list? Probably not, but I have a feeling author Fotie Photenhauer will still probably make a load of dough on this regardless.

According to the book’s website “CookingWithCum.com” (I’m not making that up), Natural Harvest “explores the culinary value of semen through beautiful photographs and delectable recipes. It’s the perfect holiday gift for that special cook in your life.”

Special cook, indeed.

The back cover provides a bit more insight into the inspiration behind this utterly bizarre composition:

Semen is not only nutritious, but it also has a wonderful texture and amazing cooking properties. Like fine wine and cheeses, the taste of semen is complex and dynamic.

Well, I guess semen really is inexpensive to produce, and, somewhat ironically, up til now it’s certainly been a black sheep within culinary circles. Not sure I’m prepared to know how commonly available it is at restaurants, however.

Still, as shocking as a cook book on ejaculate is, one has to wonder just how truly novel the suggestion “oh, come on — it can’t be that bad” is in the context of semen consumption. Know what I’m sayin’?

Oh, and if that flan on the cover doesn’t appear particularly succulent to you, perhaps you’d prefer downing a Semen-Margarita or two.

It’s the world we live in, folks…
