Pierre-Marc Bouchard’s breakaway spinorama might be NHL’s goal of the year…

Okay, I can’t really vouch for that title — I don’t watch nearly enough hockey to make a claim like that. I do, however, get the feeling that Bouchard pulling off something like this, in-game, is rather impressive. And probably took nerves of ice cold steel.

I mean, successfully completing the spinorama in a shootout is one thing — and actually something the Minnesota Wild Left Winger has done before. The fact that Bouchard’s shootout version (which can be seen after the jump) came against the same goalie, Nikolai Khabibulin, makes it that much more remarkable, I suppose.

Talk about tough luck. For Khabibulin, I mean. The Wild would hang on to beat Edmonton 4-1.
