I love college baseball.  Well, I love baseball in general.  I also love traditional baseball garb.  Thank you for destroying it, Khalil.....

Call me a traditionalist if you want.  I am.  Call me the fashion police if you want.  Maybe I am.  I like unchanging uniforms--Penn State's football uni, UCLA's basketball uni, etc.  But since I played baseball in my prime, there is a soft spot in my heart for high socks, slightly baggy pants, and you guessed it:  A BENT BILL.  I mean, holy crap, just look at that picture.  Don't get me wrong, Khalil Greene was an absolute stud at Clemson.  He put up tremendous numbers.  He also wore a tremendous hat.  A tremendously clownish hat.  I hate to put the entire blame on him, but he deserves it.  He's the pioneer of the Pancake Hat.  The John Smith.  The Christopher Columbus.  The Bisquick Douche, so to speak. 

Now some five years later, a large percentage of college baseball players are rockin' the flat bill.  They're curving the bill the other way, for %$#&'s sake! 

One piece of advice, Khalil.  Don't go wandering in Kevin Costner's corn fields.  Oh, and you're hitting .238 this year.  Bend the bill.  Do it for the kids, if not for yourself.
