Fitting that a kid who potentially grew up in a igloo would hit one of the most clutch shots in NCAA Tournament history.  I bet he actually used to walk miles, barefoot, in the snow to basketball practice too...

Just wanted to be able to watch this shot over and over and over again at my leisure.  You're welcome to watch it too of course.  Chalmers put the "C" in "Clutch" last night, cool as a cucumber, but then that's what we'd expect from someone hailing from a modest, remote Alaskan fishing village called "Anchorage".

We here in the "Lower 48" don't get much wind from up there.  Most of us will probably never even be remotely near the state, let alone bother taking the time to learn about/Google one of its fishing villages.  We do, however, know it's bitterly cold (all the time...), that the people often live in igloos and ice fish as their main source of subsistence, and, of course, that Polar Bears run rampant through the streets.  I've seen pictures/did a Google images search.

That kind of environment hardens a man, and last night Mario Chalmers, like Trajan Langdon before him, showed us "Outsiders" how significant that can be.  Okay, well, maybe not Trajan Langdon, but certainly Mario Chalmers.  You get the idea...
