Apparently Coach K never took that cheap shot at the hands of the clearly superior (and #1) Tar Heels.  Roy retracts "daggumit" as goodwill gesture?

WRAL is reporting that Coach K never said "unlike some other schools" after his pathetic squad's loss to Wake Forest a few weeks ago.  A reporter has taken blame for the error, as all Coach K said was "we don't release our injuries."

A few thoughts on this one.  First off, I love how nobody questioned whether Coach K ever said this in the first place.  Everyone just assumed he did, because he is a total asshole.

Actually, that is my only thought on this issue.  All I can think of now is how the healthy Tar Heels are going to win their 3rd straight at Cameron this Saturday.
