Tammy says “bye-bye” to Ray Ray

I was very disappointed to learn this offseason that Tammy Bowden was entertaining offers from SEC schools to jump ship from Clemson. The lesser Bowden is always good for a view laughs, quotables and other general "WTF's?" throughout the year.
Fear not my friends, Tammy has a few left in him. Being the master of Public Relations that he is, Tammy yet again proved his mettle this weekend by choosing not to renew Clemson RB Ray Ray McElrathbey's scholarship despite Ray Ray having two years of eligibility remaining. No doubt you heard Ray Ray's story this past season when he assumed custody and the fatherly duties of his 12-year old younger brother. You would think that this remarkable show of maturity and responsibility, along with an outstanding work ethic in the classroom (Ray Ray has already earned enough credits to graduate) would at LEAST earn him the right to complete his eligibility with honor. You would be wrong, especially since the Tigers entered this offseason over the scholarship limit after taking a FULL recruiting class and Ray Ray was buried on the depth chart.
Tiger players are equally as stunned. After talking to Ray Ray, star running back James Davis had this to say, "He said something about how they werent going to renew his scholarship. It really surprised me but there is a lot of stuff you cant say. Its something I guess everybody has to learn to live with." Davis went on to say that Ray Ray wasnt going to say anything public because he was worried about the Tiger coaching staff trashing him to other schools if he decided to transfer...........dont worry, you read that right. Tammy is a classy one. So is his hot daughter (google Tommy Bowden daughter for NSFW, nudey goodness).
