"clean" block on Julius Mays to end the half

Bobby Knight was onto something;

1998 – [Bobby Knight was] fined $10,000 by the Big Ten for berating referee Ted Valentine, whose officiating Knight calls “the greatest travesty” he had seen in his coaching career. Knight receives three technical fouls and is ejected by Valentine during the second half of a loss to Illinois.

VT administered a butt-whoopin’ to my beloved Wolfpack last night, and did so on their own merits.  However, this no-call at the end of the half illustrates the abysmal officiating ACC fans have to put up with, night in and night out.

Teddy "Eyeballs" Valentine

It is a shame that our great basketball conference has to be routinely tainted by biased, inconsistent and generally ridiculous officiating at every turn.

When is Sidney Lowe going to stop putting up with it and ‘Bobby Knight’ someone?

I do not pretend to think that officiating in the ACC is easy.  Being a veteran of the “stripes” myself (YMCA 6th graders) I know it is difficult….but this shit is inexcusable.

    I second the “fairy tales” idea! Also: music/dance; beach; aelahbpt/numbers. And maybe some equipment-based ones, like “using a rice/egg mold”, or using a cutter for something other than its intended shape? (eg a heart shape can make a mouse face, ladybug or strawberry)
