Mel Gibson is back everybody! Back on top! You won’t even remember he’s insane, beats women, or is anti-semitic! He’s back!
Below is the trailer for Gibson’s new movie, The Beaver. Just watch it…I can’t describe it. I just..can’t. I do come away with 2 thoughts however;
1.) Who knew puppets were the key to rehabbing an image?
2.) Who thought putting Gibson back out there as a sympathetic father figure would work this soon? Really?! I think a re-imagining of “Payback” would be better suited.
C.) Ok, 3 thoughts. Jodie Foster. What. The. Hell? (Same goes for Frightened Rabbit for contributing to the soundtrack)
editor’s note: I’ve never had an easier time finding links to backup anything as I did w/ those 3 links in the first paragraph. Child’s play. Also, thanks to the Music Geeks for the inspiration and allowing me to blatantly rip them off!

P.S.: Richard Roeper gave “The Beaver” an A+. Not kidding.

This, of course, virtually guarantees that “The Beaver” will soon become the subject of Frumpzilla’s first (somewhat serious) film review/critique.
Try to contain your excitement…
