After watching Duke Houdini their way out of what would have been a rather embarassing defeat at the hands of 15 seed Belmont, one has to wonder: Is Duke starting to slip, or have they already fallen?
Seriously, what’s going on here? Sure, they won, they advanced, and I guess that’s all that really matters, but it’s an understatement to say that Duke isn’t exactly striking fear into their Tournament opponents like they used to. 71-70? Over Belmont? And they had to do it like this?

The old Duke teams had a solid PG which it has been lacking for a while now. You cannot win if your guards cannot handle the a press, create off the dribble and you rely on that crack called the trifecta.

Duke is just not that good this year. It’s hard to accept but they’re running off legacy. We’ll have to wait a bit for a legitimately good Duke team I think.

Duke sucks cock, but let’s not forget that this loss exposing the weakness of the Atlantic Coast Conference (hereinafter, “ACC”). Indeed, the ACC is nothing but a bunch of bitches and we shall see further proof of this sad fact as the Tar Heels get their asses pummeled by the likes of Volunteers and/or Jayhawks.
