Between Two Ferns, With Zach Galifianakisberg

February 9, 2011

Zach’s back with a two-for-one special — Tila Tequila and Jennifer Aniston. Match made in heaven, right?

You could really cut the tension between Tila and Jennifer with a knife, and Zach’s confession that he changed his name for show business highlights what’s otherwise a relatively pedestrian installment of Between Two Ferns — the most critically important interview series in the past 37 or so years of American journalism.

Oh, the Rhode Island joke was good, too, if not obligatory.

I  Zach Galifianakis.

We make no attempt here at Frumpzilla to hide our adoration for Zach Galifianakis. The NC native(and former NCSU undergrad) has graced our pages many times over the years. This video also couldn’t be passed up as he made an appearance on the Bill Maher show to discuss Prop 19 in California. He decided to use actions instead of words to show his support.

I know we’re late with the video, get off our backs on this issue. We’re really really lazy. It’s not going to change…..do you realize how hard it is to change who you are?!?

Gordon Keith Turns the Tables on Zach Galifianakis

October 21, 2010

As our dozens of loyal readers are well aware, whenever Zach Galifianakis happens to release a new Between Two Ferns, Frumpzilla is more than happy to spread the love.  With that in mind, I guess it’s only fair that we also document instances in which  Mr. Galifianakis is placed between the proverbial ferns himself.

Gordon Keith – a Dallas/Fort Worth sports radio, television, and print media personality (yeah, he’s at least a triple threat) – dishes it out here, in what Zach likely assumed would simply be another in a long line of lame, cookie-cutter, local media spots he’d encounter while promoting It’s Kind of a Funny Story

Bravo, “Great Gordo,” for livening things up a bit.

Thanks to DBJ for the link (via WFAA.com)

Zach Galifianakis to Host SNL, Bring the Funny

Set your DVR’s.  Stay at home just one saturday night.  Do whatever you need to do to see Saturday Night Live tomorrow.  As long he’s not handcuffed, Zach Galifianakis should deliver one of the funnier performances the show has seen in quite awhile.  The promos below are funnier than anything I’ve seen the past few seasons which should tell you something.  So remember, 11:30pm EST on NBC.  Yes, I’ve talked a lot of ish about NBC recently, however this is surely one reason to condone watching.  Also, after the frump, you’ll find a collection of Zach G. hilarity to get you through the rest of this friday.

Just because I think it’s funny and because I can.  Here’s the latest ‘Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis’ w/ Conan O’Brien and Andy Richter.  I’m basically on a run of watching Conan videos on the internet.  So sue me.

(I’m also short on time…phoning this one in.)

All the BTF’s are friggin hilarious and can be found at Funny or Die.  I highly recommend watching every single one.
