Meet Reuben Foster: The best LB prospect you’ve ever seen…

Reuben Foster of the Troup County Tigers. A true, freshman freak at the LB positionthat isn’t old enough to obtain a driver’s license in his home state.  Seriously, Frumpsters. File this kid’s freak’s name away somewhere, and remember that you may or may not have first heard about him via your friends at Frumpzilla.

Foster is a Freshman at Troup County High School in LaGrange, Georgia.  That’s right, a Freshman, and yet this is still probably one of the more impressive recruiting highlight reels you’re ever gonna see from a Linebacker.  He’s not playing small time ball either.  Class-AAA in Georgia is nothing to scoff at, and produces some big time talent on a regular basis.

Already weighing in at 6’2″, 205, it’s scary to think how Foster might develop over the next three years, and, barring something catastrophic, he’s all but sure to be one of the most prized recruits in the 2013 class.  That said, consider this post Reuben’s official induction as the 3rd member of Frumpzilla’s High School Talent Freak Show Hall of Fame.  He fits in nicely next to Nick Marshall (throwing the ball 70 yards in the air, in game, as a Sophomore) and Deuce Bello (in game, between the legs dunk).

You can track Reuben’s progress and the fight for his commitment at his Scout.com profile. He’s currently listing Alabama, Georgia, Auburn and Georgia Tech as his favorites, but there’s obviously a long way to go…

In Game, Between the Legs Dunk (In High School)

Deuce Bello will dunk, between his legs, on unsuspecting midgets...

Deuce Bello will dunk, between his legs, on unsuspecting midgets. Don't test him.

Meet Deuce Bello. He’s a 6’3″, Class of 2011 Wing out of High Point North Carolina. When he’s not mulling over offers from Baylor, Maryland, Oklahoma State and Wake Forest, he’s doing this to poor, unsuspecting high schoolers, or possibly midgets (it’s hard to tell from the video after the Frump).

Okay, so it’s obvious the victims in this clip probably aren’t the most talented competition Bello faces on his D-One Sports AAU tours, but still: It never ceases to amaze me what high school kids are capable of these days. […]

QB throws 70 yards in the air, on the run, as a High School Sophomore…

Meet Nick Marshall.  He’s currently a Junior at Wilcox County High School, a small school tucked away in middle Georgia.  He’s the QB on the football team that just won the State Championship.  He possesses what Peyton Manning might describe as a “laser, rocket arm,” or something to that effect.  He also plays basketball, and currently claims an offer from Florida State.  Just recently he reportedly received his first offers as a 2011 QB from Georgia and Mississippi State.  He’s that guy, and I think a lot more people are about to take notice over the next year or so.

Nearly all the currently available video of this kid requires premium membership to either Scout or Rivals (both highly recommended), but, as you can see, I was lucky enough to come across the video posted below on some site called YouTube.  That clip is actually taken from a game during Marshall’s Sophomore season, which makes it all the more ridiculous.  I mean, that’s a 15 or 16 year-old kid launching a football 70 yards in the air, on the run, while eluding defenders.  Evolution?  More evidence of just how far sports science has come?  Who cares…

If a 30 second YouTube video simply eats too much into your plans, fast forward to the 14 second mark for the start of the insanity in question.

This kid has what Peyton Manning might term a "laser, rocket arm."
